Chennai Super Kings Twitter handle gives a hilarious reply to a fan’s query

Majority of CSK players are on the wrong side of 30.

Chennai Super Kings | AFPChennai Super Kings have done amazingly well since their return to the Indian Premier League in 2018, having that season and then making it into the finals in the 2019 edition as well, only to fall one-run short to Mumbai Indians.

The players that they had chosen in the 2018 auction on their return saw their squad’s age is on the wrong side of 30. They were even called the Daddies Army given that the majority of the team had kids and families which often traveled with the team during the matches.

Amid of retirement rumors, Srinivasan comments on MS Dhoni's future with CSK

Though the team looked a bit weary in 2019 season thanks to injuries to some of their star players and Dhoni admitted that he had to man manage the team smartly to get the maximum out of them and this raised questions whether CSK should let go of some aged players and get in some fresher legs and new faces.

With the IPL auction for 2020 season to take place on December 19 in Kolkata, some fans queried to the official CSK Twitter handle, of any changes were to be made to the lineup. A fan asked,” @ChennaiIPL any changes in CSK team?”

To this CSK handle hilariously replied, “Yes. The Daddies Army will be a year older. ????
