Rahmat Shah was the top-scorer for Afghanistan with 61 off 80 balls while Ikram Ali Khil contributed 62-ball 58.

Needing 7 to win, Chase got out on 94 but Hope (77 not out off 133 balls) remained firm at one end and eventually guided the team over the line with 21 balls to spare.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman was the lone warrior with the ball for Afghanistan, picking 2 wickets by conceding 33 runs in his stipulated 10 overs.
