Former Proteas captain Graeme Smith got married to Romy Lanfranchi, his long-time girlfriend. He had announced his engagement last year in November.

The 38-year-old confirmed the news via his Twitter account on Monday. The wedding took place on November 2, as posted by Smith.

Smith was previously married to Morgan Deane and had two children with the Irish pop star. Lanfranchi also has two sons from her previous marriage with her late husband who had passed away because of brain hemorrhage in 2013. The couple had welcomed a baby boy in December 2016.

One of the most successful South Africa captains, Smith has played 117 Tests for his country. He also represented Proteas in 197 ODIs and 33 T20Is before quitting cricket in 2014.
