Wicket-keeper Alex Carey didn't think twice before handing over his box, like it's very common.

Australia captain Aaron Finch and wicketkeeper Alex Carey left fans bewildered with their action on the field. We have seen cricketers borrowing each other's helmet on the ground, but Finch and Alex took it to the next level.

Rain and lengthy interval leave Finch disappointed after Sydney T20I washout

Finch was seen asking for an abdomen guard from Carey, and the wicketkeeper didn't hesitate. Most of the fans found it gross. Even on-air commentator Adam Gilchrist called it unhygienic. The incident happened during the first T20I between Pakistan and Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).

"The captain Aaron Finch is in under the lid there," Gilchrist said from the commentary box. "You don't often see the captain under the helmet. He will need a box."

"He is going to pinch the wicketkeeper's box," Mark Waugh added.

"Howie said the short run in the running between the wickets was under 12 stuff, but sharing the box is probably about under 8s," Gilchrist said. "Not very hygienic."
