Indian cricket fans are missing MS Dhoni on the field and Australian batsman Glenn Maxwell is out there imitating his famous helicopter shot in Australia.

Australia battered the Sri Lankan bowlers in the first T20I at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday (27 October). While David Warner registered his maiden T20I hundred and became the third Australian to register a century in all three formats, he was supported by the likes of Aaron Finch (64) and Glenn Maxwell (62).

Maxwell scored those runs in just 28 balls with the help of seven boundaries and three sixes. Kasun Rajitha had an unpleasant day as he created a dubious world record of conceding the most runs (75) in a T20I game. He was the one who was the victim to Maxwell’s helicopter shot that sailed over the mid-wicket fence.

On the last ball of the eighteenth over, Rajitha bowled a full delivery on his pads and Maxwell grabbed the opportunity to display his version of the helicopter shot. Cricket Australia posted the video of the shot on their Twitter handle.

Australia went on to win the match by 134 runs and gained an early advantage in the series.
