Indian wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha believes Sourav Ganguly’s tenure as BCCI President will bring a lot of benefits to the players.

Saha has seen Ganguly in the Bengal dressing room and believes that the former Indian captain knows the players’ demands and he will be the right person to act upon them. It will be beneficial for the team and players individually as well.

He is aware of player's demands and knows what goes on between them. It will be an added plus to the team and individual players,” Saha said.

The 34-year-old wicket-keeper talked about the difference Sourav Ganguly can make once he takes over the BCCI Office as President.

Saha said, “I hope players will immensely benefit after Dadi (Ganguly) takes up the new role, especially under the circumstances. He has represented the country for a long time and then went on to dominate Indian cricket first as a player then captain.

He can bring about a lot of improvements as he knows the game inside out. If something is not happening, Dadi can make it happen," he added.

He also gave his opinion on the future of MS Dhoni, who is currently nowhere in the picture and there are conflicting reports on whether he is going to continue playing for Team India.

It's Dhoni bhai's individual decision. He has played for a long time and he knows it well when and what to do,” Saha said.
