MSK Prasad clears the air on rumours suggesting MS Dhoni's retirement

Indian skipper Virat Kohli today posted a photo of a special partnership he shared with MS Dhoni. Fans have been speculating that this is an indication of Dhoni’s retirement which might be coming soon. However, chief selector MSK Prasad denied the news.

Virat Kohli posted a photo of him celebrating the successful run-chase as Dhoni looks on in the game against Australia in the 2016 World T20. He captioned it, “A game I can never forget. Special night. This man, made me run like in a fitness test.

Some fans boarded the wrong train of thoughts as they thought it was a tribute from the current skipper to the former skipper as the latter would retire. Some of them also reported that Dhoni will be attending a press conference today evening.

However, the ANI quoted MSK Prasad as he denied the truthfulness of this news. He brushed off the news saying that it is incorrect. He said, "No update on MS Dhoni’s retirement, the news is incorrect.
