Former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff on Thursday (September 12) updated about his well-being, saying he is "absolutely fine" after an accident involving a three-wheeled motorcycle.

Flintoff on Tuesday (September 10) was piloting a super-fast trike in a stunt for the BBC motoring show when things went awry. The 41-year-old is understood to have run out of runway at Elvington Airfield near York.

The 2005 Ashes hero, who was reported to have reached a top speed of 124mph, insisted he came out unscathed.

"I'm absolutely fine and was back filming [on Wednesday]," Flintoff told The Mirror newspaper.

"I go to great lengths to make sure I do well in Top Gear drag races but on this occasion, I went a few lengths too far! It will look more ridiculous than dangerous when you see it on TV."

Having been handed the job last year, Flintoff is one of the new hosts of Top Gear.
