Indian cricketer MS Dhoni may step into the Bollywood industry in the future. He is reportedly ready to invest in the film industry. There are talks about him starting a new inning by turning into a film producer in collaboration with corporate houses in the film industry.

“Films have always interested in Dhoni. He is a huge movie buff. When Neeraj Pandey made the biopic on the superstar-cricketer, he got a chance to observe the entertainment industry up close, and he loved it. He was waiting for an opportune time to take the plunge,” a source revealed, as per Deccan Chronicle. 

The rumors also suggest Dhoni may join hands with his friend and Bollywood actor John Abraham for his first project, although there is no official confirmation yet.

Dhoni is currently away from cricket. Reports say he hasn't made himself available for upcoming T20I series against South Africa in India. Recently, he was on a two-month sabbatical after the World Cup 2019. The cricketer had also undergone Army training in Kashmir for 15 days and returned after August 15.
