Bijapur Bulls and Mysuru Warriors faced each other in the 10th match of Karnataka Premier League (KPL) 2019 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Wednesday (August 21).

Opting to bowl first, Prateek Jain (2/16) and MG Naveen (1/18) delivered outstanding spells as Bulls restricted Warriors to 140/4 in 20 overs.

For Warriors, Krishnamurthy Siddharth was the lone warrior with the bat as he scored 77 not out off 55 balls (3 fours and 3 sixes) while opening the innings.

In reply, Bijapur Bulls got off to a tremendous start, Naveen (45 off 31 balls) and captain Bharath Chipli (77 off 40 balls) sharing an opening stand of 114 runs in just 10.4 overs. Vyshak Vijay Kumar dismissed both the openers in successive overs but by that time the chase was almost done and dusted.

Raju Bhatkal (10 not out) and Gonnabattula Chiranjeevi (5 not out) completed the formalities with a little partnership as Bulls reached the target with 8 wickets and 31 balls to spare.
