Australia fast bowler Jhye Richardson feels that the national selectors have a very good headache that all their pacemen are match ready and raring to go in the ongoing Ashes 2019, as all the fit bowlers made it a bit tricky for them to pick their best pace attack in England.

In the recent years, Australia's pool of fast bowlers was significantly depleted by the injuries but now they have plenty of bowlers at their ranks who all are in form and fit to play at the moment.

As per PTI, Richardson told media: “In recent years, Australia has had a few injuries that have probably depleted our fast bowling stocks a little bit.”

The pacer continued, “But now, especially going into a big series like the Ashes having everyone available is perfect because if someone gets injured or someone is not performing then the next person is ready to go. From a selectors’ point of view, I think it’s a very good problem to have.”

Meanwhile, Richardson, who is currently rehabilitating after suffering a dislocated shoulder earlier in the year, has put behind the disappointment of missing both the World Cup and the Ashes and is working hard on his recovery to make a comeback this summer.

He added, “I think it’s just about setting goals. I firstly set the goal of World Cup. Obviously didn’t make it. I kind of understood in the lead up to the World Cup that I wasn’t going to make it. So, it wasn’t so bad when I found out I wasn’t going.”

Richardson signed off by saying, “The goal now is to play well in domestic cricket. If you perform well in domestic cricket, then hopefully you play again for Australia this summer.”
