Suresh Raina who recently underwent a knee surgery in Amsterdam, has been ruled out for major part of the Indian domestic calendar. Recently, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh shared a photo of the left-handed batsman resting after he had undergone the surgery. Some celebrities like Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza also posted wishes for Raina.

After resting for a couple of days, the 32-year-old started rehabilitation and was seen walking slowly on a treadmill from a video he posted on twitter.

The tweet from Suresh Raina read, “It might be tough, but you won’t quit. You might be going through a tough time, but you won’t quit. It is hard to change your mind and body and become better. It’s really hard. And it’s easier to quit than to keep on pushing forward.

The 32-year-old from Ghaziabad has 1604 runs in 78 T20Is with an average of 29.16 at a superb strike rate of 134.79, but when it comes to ODIs, his stats get even better as he has 5615 runs to his name in 226 matches at a decent average of 35.31.
