Indian cricketer MS Dhoni is planning to open a cricket Academy in Kashmir to train the youngsters. If reports are to be believed, Dhoni will not charge a fee for the academy. He will ask for the Sports Ministry's permission for the same after the things normalize in the valley.

Dhoni, who is also a Lieutenant Colonel (Honorary) in the Parachute Regiment of the Territorial Army, is currently serving with his unit in Jammu and Kashmir. He will continue his duty in Kashmir as a part of Victor Force until August 15.

He has taken a two-month break from the Indian cricket team to stay with his 106 TA Battalion (Para). As a result, he is not touring with the Indian team to the West Indies.

Things aren't as per routine in Kashmir after the government announced their decision to scrap Article 370 of the Constitution. They have made Jammu and Kashmir a Union Territory along with Ladakh.

The former India captain Dhoni will be soon seen unfurling the tri-colour on the occasion of Independence Day in Leh in the newly-created union territory of Ladakh.
