Sarfraz Ahmed has been surrounded by controversies since Pakistan’s loss to India in the recently concluded Cricket World Cup in England. After his fitness and captaincy skills were questioned, the controversies have shifted from his cricket to his religion.

The Pakistani captain has posted a picture on Twitter of a couple of cows with a caption “Tayyariyan mukammal hain..Stage set hai… Eid_e_Qurban Ka intizar. Qurban hone ko hamarey bachrey bhi tayyaar aur beytaab hain. Allah tala sab ki qurbani aur tayyariyan qubool farmaye” that defines that the cows are ready and waiting to be slaughtered on the occasion of Bakr Eid.

The tweet has received a lot of flak from angry fans and some of them have even asked why PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has no problem with this.
