Former England captain Micahel Vaughan had predicted that whoever beats India in the World Cup 2019, will win the tournament. Well, it seems like his prediction is definitely going to be true. But it won't be 100% correct as the finalists, England and New Zealand both have won their games against India and there can only be one winner.

England defeated India in the league matches, whereas, New Zealand stunned everyone by beating the Men in Blue in semis and qualified for the final.

On Thursday, England secured a convincing victory over defending champions Australia. They beat them by 8 wickets and chased the target of 224 in just 32.1 overs.

Jason Roy's destructive 85 set the tone of England's chase. He had a 124-run partnership with Jonny Bairstow for the first wicket.

Both England and New Zealand haven't won a single 50-over World Cup. The world cricket is going to have a new winner this year. Cricket pundits say it will be England's victory at Lord's on July 14.
