Kwibuka Women's T20 is again in the news because of Mali women's pathetic batting performances. They were one of the major topics of discussion earlier this week after scoring the lowest women's T20I total. Batting against Rwanda, they had scored just 6 runs.

This time the Mali batting unit showed some progress and scored 10 runs overall. No Mali batsman made more than 4. It was a humiliating defeat against Uganda women's who had scored 314/2 in the first innings. It is the highest T20I score among both men and women. Mali lost the game by 310 runs on Thursday to again make it to the news for an unconvincing reason.

Mali was let down by the bowlers as well. They bowled 61 extras, with 30 no-balls and 28 wides. Oumou Sow bowled three overs, conceding 82 runs. Mali's only wicket-taker was Aicha Kone.

For Uganda, opener Prosscovia Alako and captain Rita Musamali both hit centuries. It was the first instance when two centuries were hit in the same innings of a women's T20I.

The margin of victory (304 runs) is the highest ever by a distance. The previous best in women's T20Is was when UAE women beat China women by 189 runs in January.
