Former Australia cricketer, currently a cricket commentator, Michael Slater was asked to get off the plane after he engaged in a heated argument with two friends. Other passengers had to suffer because of it as the flight was delayed for 30 minutes.

Eyewitnesses revealed the argument was between Slater and two women as they boarded the flight from Sydney for his hometown Wagga Wagga on Sunday.

They took the argument to the next level with swearing and yelling. Reports from Macquarie Sports Radio has confirmed that Slater has accepted the incident.

"I did have an argument with two friends whilst boarding a flight to Wagga and I apologize for the inconvenience this caused other passengers on the flight," he said.

It was the Australian airline Qantas which suffered 30 minutes delay because of the quarrel. They also confirmed the incident.

"Prior to departure on a Sydney to Wagga Wagga flight on Sunday, a male passenger was asked to leave the aircraft for being disruptive," it said in a statement to AFP. "He complied with the crew's request."
