Virat Kohli becomes first cricketer with 100 million followers on social media

The RCB captain has left behind the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, and Rohit Sharma by becoming the first international cricketer to achieve this feat. Virat Kohli has Facebook (37.1 million), Twitter (29.4 million) and Instagram (33.5 million) followers to his name. Kohli's three social media accounts following adds up to an astounding 100 million which is quite impressive.

He keeps his fans apace with his life with funny and witty posts and his postings with wife Anushka Sharma is some of the most liked social media content ever. Whether Virat Kohli is praised or trolled, he cannot be ignored and it has worked out pretty well for him.

Virat Kohli’s next campaign will be leading the Indian team into the ICC World Cup 2019 where they start with a match against South Africa on June 5, before clashing with arch-nemesis Pakistan on June 16.
