Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shahzad was overwhelmed by the humanity and legacy of Indian cricket great Sachin Tendulkar and the way he carried himself throughout his career and even though after his retirement.

One of the most celebrated cricketers in the world, Tendulkar made his name wearing the blue jersey over his career of 24 years though that was not only because of his iconic batting, but also his calm attitude and simplicity both on and off the field.

The master blaster has not only inspired the whole generation with his batting but also many more generations to come for being a perfect role model and Shehzad was also awe-struck, calling him “best ever batsman” and “best ever role model”.

Tendulkar has earned a lot of admirers across the globe with his grounded attitude besides his on-field accomplishments, as the batting legend never boasted about is achievements despite his several laurels.

Recently, Pakistan batsman was involved in a Q&A session on Twitter and when he was asked to have few words on cricket icon, and Shahzad has described Tendulkar all-time great in short of words.

He wrote on Twitter, “Best ever batsman. Best ever role model. Bestest human. Treats everybody the same. @sachin_rt.”
