Sachin Tendulkar reacts to Pulwama terrorist attack

Cricket Icon Sachin Tendulkar has condemned the worst ever terror attack against the Indian paramilitary forces in Jammu and Kashmir, and shared an emotional message for the family of the deceased soldiers on the social media on Friday (15th February).

On Thursday, 14 February 2019, the terrorists attacked a convoy of vehicles carrying security personnel on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway by a vehicle-bound suicide bomber in Lethpora near Awantipora, Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir.

In a dastardly terror attack, 42 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were martyred and many were injured in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.

Since the news of the attack broke out, several cricket fraternities including Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Tendulkar among those who took to Twitter to condemn the attack in the strongest of words, and also, wished a speedy recovery for the injured soldiers.   

Tendulkar wrote, “Cowardly, dastardly, meaningless...... my heart goes out to the families of those who lost their loved ones and prayers for the recovery of those brave hearts in hospital. Salute to your commitment to Service and Loyalty' @crpfindia.”

Meanwhile, Pakistan is being blamed for the worst-ever terrorist attack in J&K, while the Indian government has said that terrorists will pay a heavy price for the same.

ON the other hand, Pakistan-based Islamist Terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility for the Pulwama terrorist attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given green signal to the soldiers to do the whatever they want to control the condition in the state.
