New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult, who is more known for his astonishing prowess with the ball, recorded a hundred batting in the middle order for his club side Cadets on Saturday, February 9.

A regular No.11 at the highest level, Boult came out to bat at No.7 in this encounter. He struck an innocuous but matchwinning 110* to help his team win by a wicket against Te Puke at Otumoetai College ground.

Right-hand batsman actually recorded his third hundred in club cricket and it came at just the right time as this innings propelled Cadets to the top of the Williams Cup table alongside Mount Maunganui and Central Indians.

Earlier, Boult, who was Blackcaps' leading wicket-taker in their 1-4 ODI series loss versus India, got rested for the ongoing three-match T20I battle versus the same opponents.
