Sarah Taylor and Katherine Brunt return to England squad for India series

England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Thursday (7th February) announced Women’s squad for the upcoming limited-overs series against India, starting from February 22, 2019.

While wicketkeeper batswoman Sarah Taylor and all-rounder Katherine Brunt returned to England’s squad, all-rounder Jenny Gunn has been rested for the limited-overs series in India.

Young English cricketers Kirstie Gordon and Katie George are all set to miss the India tour with the injuries while Taylor will only part of the ODI series and Brunt is part of both squads.

The limited overs series between India Women and England Women comprise with the three ODI matches, which will be part of the ICC Women’s Championship and three T20Is.

Meanwhile, the entire ODI series will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on February 22, 25 and 28, while the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati will host all T20Is here on March 4, 7 and 9.
