Dwayne Bravo has played under some very influential captains throughout his career, but he did not find such legacy in others that MS Dhoni has, as he was highly impressed with the Indian great’s leadership and even picked him as the best skipper over Brian Lara he played under.

Being a T20 freelancer, Bravo has been playing in several franchise leagues across the world including Indian Premier League, and Big Bash League, which gave him the opportunity to rub shoulders with many greats of the game and play under some best in business.

Having a sea of experience in T20 cricket with 422 games, Bravo is a key member of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and admitted that he enjoyed individual success under Dhoni in the IPL.

The all-rounder enjoyed some phenomenal outings with Dhoni for CSK in the IPL over the years, and even after their return to the tournament after serving a 2-year suspension, Bravo joined the Yellow Brigade and went on to lift the IPL 11 title under Dhoni's captaincy.

The 35-year-old also played a quite a lot of matches under legend Brian Lara for West Indies and said he is also a good captain, but he picked Dhoni as the best, saying it's the sheer number of trophies teams have won under his leadership, including two world titles in 2007 and 2011, and he has won with the Indian great that makes his case stronger.

Bravo told Times of India, “MS Dhoni is the best captain I played under. I have played two years under (Brian) Lara who is also a good captain. But I have played most of my cricket under Dhoni and have most of my success there (in the IPL). Be it as an individual or collectively as a team. We have won trophies together.”

Noteworthy, Bravo, who last played for the West Indies in 2016, has recently called time on his international career having made 164 ODI appearances in which he scored scoring 2,968 runs and also claimed 199 wickets for his country. He also scored 1142 runs, and picked up 52 wickets in T20Is.
