Ish Sodhi and Lockie Ferguson climb up ICC ODI rankings; Bumrah and Kohli hold on to the top spot

Henry Nicholls gained a lot in the latest ICC ODI rankingsAfter the conclusion of New Zealand and Sri Lanka ODI series, there was minor movement in the ICC ODI rankings’ latest edition.

New Zealand leg-spinner Ish Sodhi and fast bowler Lachlan (Lockie) Ferguson, both reached the 31st position in the rankings. Sodhi picked 8 wickets in the series, while Ferguson picked 7 wickets in the series. Sri Lanka captain Lasith Malinga is another bowler to gain in the latest update, moving up three places to take 46th spot after finishing with seven scalps in the series.

On the batting side, Henry Nicholls has gained 21 places to take 59th position while Colin Munro has moved up from 58th to 56th. However, Kane Williamson moved out of the top 10.

Thisara Perera of Sri Lanka moved up to 65th position, Niroshan Dickwella moved to 26th position and Kusal Perera moved to the 66th position after the conclusion of the ODI series.

Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah remain no.1 in ICC ODI batsmen and bowlers rankings respectively
