Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma became a father recently and had to head back home to see his new-born and wife Ritika Sajdeh. He was a part of India's Test squad in Australia for the ongoing 4-match Test series.

Ritika delivered their first child in Mumbai on 30th of December 2018. The 31-year-old posted the first glimpse of the baby girl on social media and wrote, "Well hello world! Let’s all have a great 2019 ????." 

Rohit played in the first and third Test for India and scored an unbeaten 63 in the first innings at MCG. Rohit will join the ODI squad on January 8, 2019, with the first game starting January 12. 

The Mumbai batsman is famous for scoring big hundreds and India will need daddy hundreds in the upcoming overseas ODI series against Australia and New Zealand to dominate on foreign soil.
