Yuvraj Singh faced the backlash of Twitterati after he missed Ranji Trophy games post IPL 12 auction. Yuvraj was picked by Mumbai Indians on his base price 1 crore. Interestingly, the cricketer played three Ranji Trophy matches before IPL auction to prove his worth. But he failed in all three.

He was released from his contract with the Kings XI Punjab and was aware of the consequences if he fails to grab the attention of IPL franchises.

Yuvraj scored 24 against Delhi, 4 & 9 against Himachal Pradesh and 41 against Tamil Nadu. But Mumbai still went for him, though, in the second round.

But instead of continuing his run with Punjab, he pulled out of their next Ranji game after the IPL auction which started on Saturday (December 22). Fans were gathered outside the gates of Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium to catch a glimpse of the southpaw, but he was not seen anywhere.

Yuvraj is infact, enjoying Christmas holidays now in Hungary. His wife Hazel Keech had posted a picture of him with Ashish Nehra and Ajit Agarkar.

Fans were irked by Yuvraj, not only those who waited for him, but also the social media users. Here is how they reacted:
