Just a day before the IPL 2019 auction, Mumbai all-rounder Shivam Dube smashed five sixes in five deliveries in a Ranji Trophy match against Baroda.

Dube smocked Swapnil Singh's first five deliveries out of the park before the left-arm spinner bowled the last ball of the over down the leg side, ensuring that the southpaw couldn't get any bat to it. He played a swashbuckling knock of 76 runs in 60 balls as the match ended in a draw. His innings was laced with three fours and seven sixes.

Shivam Dube has been in terrific form in the ongoing Ranji Trophy season. He has so far scored 489 runs, comprised of two tons and three fifties. The 25-year-old has also picked up 17 wickets in five matches.

Here's the video of Shivam Dube's 5 consecutive sixes:

"Yes, Shivam is a very talented player and we have seen how long he hits sixes," Mumbai skipper Siddhesh Lad said after the match. "I'm sure IPL teams are looking after him and he will go at a good price."

There will be 350 slots up for grabs when the IPL 2019 auction gets underway in Jaipur on Tuesday afternoon. The BCCI had registered 1003 players, which included 232 overseas players for the auction. The franchises have shortlisted around 350 cricketers for Tuesday when 119 capped, 229 capped and two associate nation players will go under the hammer.
