Former India opener Virender Sehwag took to social media to clarify his side after it was found that he was falsely advertised in a newspaper.
A local political outfit Rashtriya Loktantrik Party put out an ad in a Hindi daily claiming that Sehwag will be appearing at their rally at the Farmer’s agitation in Haryana.
Sehwag took to his Twitter and called it, “a shameless campaign” made in order to, “fool people”. He tweeted, “LIAR ALERT I am in Dubai & have had no communication with any of these guys. When these Liars can shamelessly lie in the name of their campaign & try to fool people, wonder how much they will fool people if by any chance they come to power. Anything is better than deceit & lie”
