With Tamim Iqbal still recovering from a side strain, Bangladesh announced a 13-member squad on Tuesday (November 27) with only one change for the second and final Test against West Indies to be played at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium from November 30, 2018.

The only change is none other than batting sensation – Shadman Islam who is in line to make his Test debut for Bangladesh against Windies in Dhaka.

While Imrul Kayes once again gets ignored, Soumya Sarkar got the node for the Dhaka Test, as the national selectors decided to go with a winning combination, as the Tigers are looking to seal a 2-0 series win at home after winning the first Test by 64 runs.

Following his magnificent form with the willow in the limited-overs series against Zimbabwe, Kayes has been continuously struggling to deliver in the Tests cricket and even failed to make an impression in the first Test against Windies as well, resulting in him being dropped from the squad for the final Test.

The Dhaka Test will be followed by three One Day Internationals and three T20Is, starting with the first ODI on December 9.

Bangladesh Squad for Dhaka Test:
hakib Al Hasan(c), Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Mithun, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Ariful Haque, Mahmudullah, Mehidy Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Taijul Islam, Khaled Ahmed, Shadman Islam, Nayeem Hasan
