Tennis star Novak Djokovic surprised everyone on the micro-blogging site Twitter when he offered a batsman to England Cricket Board. Djokovic shared a picture with Imran Bashir, one of the members of 'Team Djokovic' to give him a shoutout.

Bashir recently won the batsman of the year award for his local cricket team which made the renowned Tennis player post a picture with him.

Not only he posted a picture, but Djokovic also went on to tag the official Twitter account of ECB and asked him if there is a place vacant in their team because he has a strong candidate.

"Imran Bashir (my chauffeur for the #NittoATPFinals) has been part of #TeamDjokovic for 10 years! He is also a famous batsman for his local #cricket ?? team. He received this trophy for best batsman of the year and we need to get it out there!" Djokovic tweeted.

His tweet was followed by another one, which read, " #TrevorBayliss @englandcricket, you should keep your eye on Imran. I think he is a strong candidate for your team."

We are not sure if ECB would consider Bashir for a place in their squad, but International Cricket Council has an offer for Djokovic. They responded to his tweet and asked him to join them in 'net practice' during ICC World Cup 2019. It will be enough for his preparation for Wimbledon next year.

"We know you try to avoid nets as a tennis player, but if you feel like mixing up your @Wimbledon preparation next year, come down and have a net session at the @cricketworldcup!," they wrote.
