When Virat Kohli came into the Indian cricket team, his passion and love for the game were same. But not his fitness. Even his dedication and hard work were the same in intensity as it is now, but for the better outcome, he had to push himself into the right direction which he did.

Giving up your favorite food completely can't happen overnight. Kohli showed us he can go to any extent if it benefits his game.

On Virat's 30th birthday, Harbhajan Singh gave us a major throwback. He recalled the time when Kohli stepped into Indian team and how he has changed himself since then.

"He is a changed man. When he came into the squad, he was like a Delhi boy, who would eat golgappas and all. Now he has totally changed. He has become very wise, he understands his body and he eats what his body needs. That is exactly what he is looking to do. And he has become vegetarian (vegan)," Harbhajan told India Today.

Harbhajan was surprised seeing Kohli turning into a vegan. He even had a chat about it with the Indian captain.

"He told me 'paaji I have arranged for all the proteins and everything that I need. It's all sorted'. And I'm sure his wife Anushka must have played a big role in this.

"He always gives credit to Anushka for making him whatever he is today. But before that I would say credit to his mother for giving birth to such a legend," Harbhajan added.
