Delhi is suffering from severe pollution and Gautam Gambhir knows whom to blame. Gambhir has always been vocal when it comes to raising public issues. T

The rise in pollution is going to trouble the Delhiites again this winter and the situation doesn't seem to be in control. It has only gone worse than last year.

The Supreme Court-appointed Environment Pollution Control Authority (EPCA) has urged the people of Delhi to use public transport for the first 10 days of November to keep a check on pollution.

Gambhir's tweet came in anger as the government has failed to live up to the expectations. His tweet read, “दर्दे दिल, दर्दे जिगर दिल्ली में जगाया AAP ने, पहले तो यहाँ Oxygen था, Oxygen भगाया AAP ने।” @ArvindKejriwal @AamAadmiParty our generations are going up in smoke like your false promises. U had 1 full year to tame dengue &pollution, sadly you couldn’t control either. Wake up!!!"

According to center-run System of Air Quality Forecasting and Research (CPCB) data, 2.5 PM was recorded at 342.6 in Anand Vihar, one of the most polluted places in Delhi, and PM 10 was recorded at 581.16. Fine particulates can be a matter of more serious health concern than PM10 (particles in the air with a diameter of fewer than 10 micrometers).

As for the categorisation, AQI between 0 and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', 401 and 500 'severe'.
