Mumbai has chased down all the given targets in Vinoo Mankad Trophy U-19 except once, against Madhya Pradesh where they fell 9 runs short. They have lost three matches in the tournament till now and have lost twice while defending the target. Once against Karnataka earlier this month and the second one came against Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

UP won the game by 5 wickets and chased down the target of 203 in 46.1 overs.

Arjun Tendulkar remained wicketless in the game despite being the most successful bowler this tournament. His figures read 8-2-32-0 in the game.

In the game against Jharkhand, Tendulkar had returned with a spell of 10-1-30-2 but couldn't do much against UP when his contribution mattered a lot.

For Mumbai, India U-19 batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 77 but failed to get support from the other end. Mumbai found themselves at 85/4 at one stage. Thanks to Pragnesh Kanpillewar’s 46 off 50 they ended on 202 in 46.2 overs.

India U-19 pacer Mohit Jangra was the major contributor for UP with the ball as he bagged four wickets for 39 runs.

UP too faced collapse while chasing the target. They scored four down for 65 but Sameer Choudhary's unbeaten 81 off 89 balls took them through.
