Sachin Tendulkar met with his old friend Brain Lara recently. He shared a picture of both and wrote, "Chillin’ with @BrianLara #FridayFun." Sachin hosted Lara at his Perry Cross Road residence in Bandra.

With India and the West Indies playing bilateral ODI series, everyone would have expected them to discuss cricket only. But Sachin revealed it was all about golf.

“Nothing, in particular, we had chatted about a lot of things, but mostly about golf,” Tendulkar told Mumbai Mirror.

“He has played some serious golf and I have not, but we chatted about the game, the handicaps, etc,” he added.

Sachin who isn't a regular golf player wants to be a part of the game now. “I have decided to play some golf, but it would be more for recreation rather than for serious competitive purpose. I hope to go the Wellington golf course, which is closest to my place,” Tendulkar said.

The former Indian batsman made it clear that they didn't indulge in cricket discussion at all.

Sachin was actually surprised by Lara's visit and had no prior information about it. “He has surprised me by his visit. I had no clue.”

Lara is in India for the ongoing series between the two countries. The southpaw will be a part of commentary team and as per Sachin, he will be traveling across India. “He has told me he would traveling around the country,” Tendulkar explained.
