Pakistan cricketer Ahmed Shehzad has got himself in trouble after violating the terms of the 'Agreed Sanction Agreement'.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a show cause notice to him for the same. He had entered the agreement with the cricket board during the proceedings of a doping case against him.

Shehzad is currently facing a four-month ban and as per the agreement, he can't play any form of cricket till November 11. Anti-Doping Agency had found a concentration of 11-nor-Delta9-Tetra Hydro Cannabinol-9-Carboxylic acid (THC) in his urine sample.

Shehzad had then signed an agreement with the board under article 8.4 'Agreed Sanctions Agreement' of the PCB's anti-doping code.

But the 26-year-old got himself in trouble after his posts on social media unveiled that he actually played seven matches for Muslim Gymkhana club in 12 days despite being banned.

The board in the show cause notice has asked from the 26-year-old "to explain why proceedings should not be initiated against him" for the violation. He has to submit his response by October 25.

The Lahore born has last featured in Pakistan team in July during a two-match T20I series against Scotland. Shehzad's name, which was missed out earlier, was added in the PSL 4 player roster this month.
