Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli is having a bad time on social media. After his request to BCCI to allow wives on tour for the full duration, Twitterati has found another reason to lash out at the Indian captain.

A picture of Kohli is circulating on Twitter where he can be seen standing on a platform to look taller than female tennis star Karman Kaur Thandi.

The move might have been requested by the photographers but the netizens, especially the feminists are not pleased with it.

The picture which went viral on the internet is from a launch of special edition watch– Tissot Chrono XL Classic Virat Kohli 3018 line at Taj Lands End in Mumbai.

Apart from Virat, Satnam Singh, Karman Kaur Thandi, Aadil Bedi, Shivani Kataria, Sachika Kumar Ingale, Jehan Daruvala, Pinky Jangra and Manoj Kumar were also at the event.

A post which got most attention was shared by @SanobarFatma on Twitter. She wrote, "You can be anything but the woman can’t be taller than the man. Such a fragile ego. Such vanity."

Virat has used the platform while clicking a picture with Basketball player Satnam Singh as well. When Satnam Singh, who is 7 feet 2, joined the Indian cricket captain on the stage- Virat had to climb the steps on the stage to be clicked in the same frame.
