Australian cricket team are infamous for their sledging techniques and heated duels and have always been on the radar for their on-field behavior and once again they have made news regarding the same during the Day 2 of the first Test against Pakistan in Dubai on Monday (October 8).

Last month, the Australian were on the news for sledging England all-rounder Moeen Ali for which they had received a lot of criticism from Cricket legends across the globe.

Now, Pakistan batsman Haris Sohail has revealed that the Kangaroos have thrown something at him “once or twice” when he was batting on Monday, though, he didn’t pay attention to their remarks.

At the post-day press conference, Sohail was asked about the incident by the journalists to which he replied, “I am an innocent guy (laughs). I am a very polite person so I didn’t even look at them when they tried to sledge me. On a couple of occasions when they sledged, I turned a deaf year on it.”

Meanwhile, Sohail hogged the spotlight for his career-best 110 which set the Tim Paine-led Australia side for a daunted task, as it helped Pakistan to brilliantly finish off their innings with the total of 482, thanks to his maiden century and Asad Shafiq's 80 runs on Day 2 of the first Test in Dubai.

Sohail was pleased to go on and post a big score, saying it is big pride for him to score Test hundred for his country.

He signed off by saying, “I was getting out on 30-40 runs on the tour of England (in May-June this year). So I wanted to get out of that panic situation and I am happy that I have done that today. It's always a big pride to score a Test hundred for your country and I have worked really hard to reach this far.”
