The supreme court appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) is set to hold the Indian team’s performance appraisal meetings ahead of the second Test against West Indies in Hyderabad.

As per The Sunday Express, meetings between the team management and the chief selector will be held on October 10 and 11. India and West Indies will play their second Test from October 12.

“The CoA will have a discussion with the team management. It’s stock-taking of the team’s tours of South Africa, England and Dubai [for the Asia Cup]. This is a performance analysis meeting of the overseas tours. Captain Virat Kohli, vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, head coach Ravi Shastri will be there. Chief selector MSK Prasad, too, will be present,” a source said.

India had a poor time lately in Test cricket on away tours to South Africa and England, losing both Test series 1-2 and 1-4 respectively. The Kohli-led side has won only two overseas Test matches this year.

The CoA had raised questions on the Indian team. They had also asked the head coach about the reasons for poor performance in England despite having enough time for preparation.
