Steve Smith confirmed for PSL 2019, as per Reports

The reports says Steve Smith and David Warner's name were linked to the PSL last month.

It seems like the upcoming edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is going to be emphatic one, with stars like South Africa legend AB de Villiers confirming his participation in the T20 tournament and now discarded Aussie batsman Steve Smith is in line to confirm his partaking in the event.

Besides De Villiers, Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Shane Watson, and Chris Lynn are among those who are set to enhance the beauty of the event and the news of Smith’s participation in the tournament will certainly add more glamour to the PSL 4 and excitement to the fans.

Reputable cricket journalists Mazher Arshad and Faizan Lakhani have confirmed on Thursday (October 4) that suspended former Australian skipper has forwarded his name into the PSL 2019 draft.

Karachi based Journalist Lakhani announced on Twitter, “Big news; Steve Smith confirmed for PSL 2019.” While Arshad confirmed, “Steve Smith enters his name in Pakistan Super League's draft. #PSL4”

Meanwhile, there are also reports that David Warner, who is also out of the Australian team for ball-tampering scandal in South Africa, might be another big name in the PSL 2019 players draft.

Since the infamous ball-tampering scandal, Smith played his first game at Club level in Australia, scored 85 off 92 balls for his club Sutherland recently after having represented the Toronto Nationals in the Canadian Global T20 League.
