Member of the Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators (COA), Diana Edulji has said that BCCI isn't averse to playing the Day-Night Tests and confirmed that the Indian Cricket Team will be featuring in one such game in the near future.

Recently, after being requested by Cricket Australia to help in continuance of the traditional Day-Night Test at Adelaide later this year, the BCCI declined the offer stating that its players aren't adequately prepared for the occasion yet.

The CA spokesperson was quoted saying at the time as, “We can confirm that we have received advice from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that it is not prepared to participate in a proposed day-night Test in Adelaide this summer,”

This raised serious doubts over the acceptance of Day-Night Test from world cricket's most powerful force, the Indian Cricket fraternity.

Now though, Edulji, the former captain of the country's women's team, confirmed the likelihood of a change in board's stance in the future.

“We are working on it. It will happen,” Edulji said on the sidelines of the 9th Dilip Sardesai Memorial Lecture at the Cricket Club of India, “It could be anywhere, but things will change.”
