Although being cleared of all charges of affray by the concerned law authorities in the UK, all-rounder Ben Stokes and batsman Alex Hales have still been charged of bringing the game into disrepute by the England and Wales Cricket Board(ECB). 

Both Stokes and Hales were infamously involved in a late night physical altercation with members of the general public last year and after having seen the response of the court, ECB has decided to take their own course of action into the matter. 

An independent Cricket Discipline Commission (CDC) was tasked by the board to lead an internal disciplinary into the September 2017 incident. 

The two cricketers will have to answer ECB on counts of breaching the directive no. 3.3, which states, "No participant may conduct themselves in a manner or do any act or omission at any time which may be prejudicial to the interests of cricket or which may bring the ECB, the game of cricket or any cricketer or group of cricketers into disrepute."

The hearing is scheduled to take place in London on December 5 and 7.
