Trinbago Knight Riders crushed Guyana Amazon Warriors by eight wickets to register their third Caribbean Premier League title win. It was Kiwi batsman Colin Munro who scored an unbeaten 39-ball 68 to blow away the Guyana bowlers with his hurricane like innings.

Opting to field, Knight Riders restricted Warriors to 147 for 9, with Khary Pierre claiming 3 for 29 and captain Dwayne Bravo picking up two wickets. In reply, Knight Riders chased down the target in just 17.3 overs, thanks to brilliant batting performances from Brendon McCullum (39) and Munro (68).

Shah Rukh Khan-owned team Knight Riders received a congratulatory message from him on Twitter. The Bollywood star posed with the TV screen on which Trinbago players were standing together when their team needed just 2 runs to win.
