Arjun Tendulkar has been included in the Mumbai Under-19 squad on Tuesday (September 11) for the 6th All India Under-19 J Y Lele Invitational One Day tournament starting from September 16 in Baroda.

The 18-year-old promising left-arm pacer recently made his India U-19 debut against Sri Lanka in the two-match Youth Test series in July. However, Arjun Tendulkar,  son of cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, was not named in the one-day squad for the Sri Lanka tour.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) Joint Secretary Unmesh Khanvilkar has confirmed in a statement that Suved Parkar will lead the Mumbai squad in the invitational tournament.

This tournament will be a great opportunity for Arjun, who has also bowled to the Indian team in the nets, to stake his claim for the Mumbai senior team in the ongoing domestic season, as the fast-bowler is yet to make his List A and First-Class debut.

Mumbai Squad:

Suved Parkar (Captain), Divyansh Saxena, Karan Shah,Pragnesh Kanpillewar, Hashir Dafedar, Arsalan Shaikh, Yash Salunkhe, Kesar Singh Thapa, Vaibhav Kalamkar, Atharva Ankolekar, Bhushan Jalawadkar, Praful Devkate, Arjun Tendulkar Uzair Khan, Balwant Singh Sodha and Saksham Parashar.
