Kerala wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson has been in news for various reasons apart from his cricket. However, the 23-year-old cricketer took to Instagram to announce his engagement and date of marriage to his college classmate in December this year.

"Both were classmates at the Mar Ivanios College here. The marriage has been fixed with the blessings of both the families," said Charu's father B. Ramesh Kumar to IANS.

Sanju Samson is known for his exploits in IPL for Rajasthan Royals and for playing a solitary T20I for India.
