IND v WI 2018: Lucknow's Ekana Stadium set to host second T20I between India and West Indies

After being inaugurated in 2016, Ekana Stadium has hosted five domestic cricket matches thus far.

Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium is all set to host its maiden international match in the form a Twenty20 game between India and West Indies.

The BCCI confirmed Lucknow as the venue for the second of three T20Is when it announced the full itinerary of home series against West Indies. The second T20I between India and West Indies will be played on November 6.

After being inaugurated in 2016, Ekana Stadium has hosted five domestic cricket matches thus far, including the final of Duleep Trophy 2017-18.

West Indies tour of India will commence on October 4 with a Test match at Rajkot. Hyderabad will host the second Test from October 12. The five ODIs will be played in Guwahati (October 21), Indore (October 24), Pune (October 27), Mumbai (October 29) and Thiruvananthapuram (November 1).

While Kolkata will stage the first T20I on November 4, the third T20I will be played in Chennai on November 11.
