The yo-yo test pops up in the news whenever a big player fails to qualify it. Recently, the in-form Ambati Rayudu had to miss the Indian team's UK tour because of a below average yo-yo score.

This time the yo-yo test has made headlines after Pakistan pacer Hassan Ali passed the test with an amazing score. His score was even better than that of Indian captain Virat Kohli, who is often considered as the fittest Indian cricketer at the moment.

Pakistan cricketers have undergone the fitness test ahead of the Asia Cup 2018. As per a report in arysports.tv, Ali emerged as the fittest player in the team with a score of 20 in the test.

Kohli has a score of 19; his best. Last year, before India's tour to Sri Lanka, Manish Pandey was India's highest yo-yo test scorer with 19.2. Veterans like Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina had missed out because of failure to pass the test.

Not only, Hassan Ali, there are few others as well who have left Kohli behind in yo-yo test. Former India U-19 cricketer Mayank Dagar had scored 19.3 and Arun Karthik, the former Royal Challenger Bangalore player, has scored 19.2 in the test.

Leave cricket aside, the former Indian hockey skipper Sardar Singh has an eye-catching score of 21.4.

India and Pakistan will face each other on September 19 in the Asia Cup 2018. The Indian team will be led by Rohit Sharma in the absence of Virat Kohli.
