Bangladeshi cricketers continue to defame the name of their country as India’s Tennis star Sania Mirza was subjected to eve-teasing by Bangladesh batsman Sabbir Rahman, alleges her husband and renowned Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik.
It is learnt that Malik had visited Bangladesh four years ago with his wife to participate in a domestic tournament in Dhaka. During the visit, Sabbir had teased Sania in the field.
According to a report in Bangladeshi media, Malik lodged an official complaint to the chairman of Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM).

It is worth mentioning here that Sabbir Rahman has been one of the most controversial Bangladeshi players in recent times. He often grabs the headlines for his misconduct off the field.
Earlier, Sabbir had been dropped from the national team’s ODI squad for assaulting a spectator physically. As a punishment, his central contract was taken away along with a fine and ban from playing domestic cricket for six months.
He has also been fined by the board during the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for bringing a woman into the team hotel without taking permission from the authority.
