One of India's top sports anchors Mayanti Langer, has recently recalled her first interaction with husband Stuart Binny during the show “Miss Field”. They are one of the most celebrated couples with a huge fan base. It is their chemistry which keeps their followers hooked to knowing whatever is happening in their lives.

During the show, Mayanti has revealed an interesting story about their first interaction which was during the Indian Cricket League, where he was representing the Hyderabad Heroes. In the tournament, she was one of the English presenters and she interviewed Binny on the very first day of her job.

The sports anchor also revealed that she had very bad cricket knowledge when she started her career as she even did not know who were Roger and Stuart Binny.

Mayanti told Shibani Dandekar on the show, “I didn’t know who he (Stuart Binny) was when I first met him. One of my producers introduced me to him and said this is Stuart Binny, son of Roger Binny. I kept wondering who is Roger Binny. That’s how bad my cricket knowledge was at that point.”

The sports presenter also revealed that she had to face a bit of embarrassment when she was interviewing Stuart, saying: “He was my first interview of the season. One of the producers told me that he recently got engaged and he has done well previously, so ask him about these stories. During the interview, I did congratulate him on his engagement, which I later realized had never happened.”

Mayanti signed off by saying, “That was our first proper interaction and it was pretty embarrassing, but it broke the ice between us. On a lot of occasions, we are on the field together, but we don’t talk a word with each other. That’s the decorum we have to maintain.”

Noteworthy, Mayanti started hosting shows on various other sports before switching to cricket where she has now become a popular personality in the field of broadcasting, as she is now seen sharing the screen with the legends of the game.
