According to reports in Geo News on Friday (24 August), Pakistan and West Indies are planning to play a series in 2021. Sources also confirmed that West Indies will tour the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2021 to play T20 International and One Day International series against Pakistan.

Sources told Geo News, “One T20 and three Tests between Pakistan and West Indies will take place in July 2021 in West Indies. Two T20 matches will also take place in Florida, United States.”

Recently, Windies toured Pakistan for three T20Is that was all played in Karachi in April with the hosts won the series 3-0. Currently, the country is hosting the sixth edition of the Caribbean Premier League.

On the other hand, Pakistan Cricket Team are busy in their preparation for the upcoming edition of the Asia Cup 2018 to be played from 15 September in the UAE, which is the adopted ground for the Men in Green, which will be a plus point for them in the event as compared to others.

The Asia Cup 2018 will see India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and a yet-to-be-determined qualifier go head to head for the title in the United Arab Emirates. The tournament will be played in a 50 over format this year after it was played as a T20 tournament last time around.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is also scheduled to host Australia for a limited-overs series in October followed by New Zealand's visit for a full tour. Later, they will travel to South Africa in December 2018 for a full tour.
