Kevin Pietersen has been in the ears of the England selectors ever since his retirement for more bad reasons than good. Recently he has yet again taken a dig at the selectors for overlooking Ian Bell who was in fine form just when he was dropped.
Having played cricket for England last in 2015, Bell has been out of international cricket for almost three years now. However, he has been playing county cricket and has been around the scene.
Through his tweet, Pietersen highlighted the importance of Bell especially in home conditions and also the fact that he would have been a perfect guide for the youngsters in the team.
“Huge ECB mistake was getting rid of Ian Bell when he had a few good years left in him to help the youngsters. It’s not the batters fault! It’s the selectors who THANK GOODNESS have been moved on. Youngsters need senior batters to look up to!” he tweeted.
